The Streichfein quartet is a stringquartet playing diverse music.

History:

The quartet began in 2004, during the tour of the crea orchestra to the Cezch rep. and Poland. During that tour many ensembles spontaneously where created. IT was after a Dvorak concert in Brno, when Christian got the idea to start a stringquartet for light music, with nice people with a diverse repertoire. The first person he asked was Maloe, who liked the idea. After some looking and some rejections, they finally found Heleen and Ines, who liked the idea, and thus the quartet was born. During one of their first meetings, they had dinner, and they had a creamcheese called Streichfein, which was chosen as the name for the quartet. The quartet was started for fun, to enjoy playing together, to play a diverse repertoire, with some non classical music and improvisation. The quarted has plans to play with the band Pourquoi me reveiller.
